Irish Dancing

This program is designed for those who love dancing and want to learn more about traditional Irish Dancing such as Set and Sean-Nos Dancing. 

Based in Connemara, you will tour the area during the day and be introduced to traditional Irish Dancing in the evening.  Depending on the time of the year, we will organise to go to a show of Irish Dancing.

The program includes:

• 1 day touring Connemara, with a visit to Kylemore Abbey            
• 1 day visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher
• 1 full day excursion to Wesport with the option to visit Achill Island
• 1 day visiting Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands
• 1 day visiting Galway City (with some time for shopping)
• 1 day visiting Galway East (with a visit to the Writer’s Tree in Gort)
• 10 hours introduction to Irish Dancing
• 1 evening to a show of Irish Dancing (depending on time of the year)

A Taste of the West

Based in Connemara, you will each day discover a new landscape and have the opportunity to be introduced to some of our traditional sports and pastimes such as Set or Sean-Nos Dancing, Hurling or why not Golf.  You will also go Greyhound Racing and spend unforgettable moments in Irish Pubs.  This program is very flexible depending on what the group wishes to do and the time of the year.  The aim is to make you live a real Irish experience and discover our traditions, in all simplicity…

Heritage Tour

This program is designed to discover the Heritage in the West of Ireland.  Based in Connemara and Mayo, you will visit some of the most interesting archaeological and historical sites in Ireland and travel through beautiful scenery.
The program includes:

• 1 day touring Connemara, with a visit to Kylemore Abbey            
• 1 day visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, with a stop at the famous Poulnabrone Dolmen
• 1 day excursion to Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands with a visit to Dún Aengus, a fort that was built on the top of a cliff (c. 900 BC)
• 1 day excursion to Wesport, stopping at Croagh Patrick on the way, known as “Ireland’s Holy Mountain” where Saint Patrick is said to have spent forty days and nights fasting and praying for the people of Ireland. Visit to “Céide Fields”, a Stone Age site, dating back to 5,000 years ago
• 1 day touring Achill Island
• 1 day visiting Galway City and Galway East (with a visit to the Writer’s Tree in Gort)

All of the tours are 8 Days/7 Nights and include
